About the event
Come join us for a peaceful, hands-on evening of Oklahoma-style Cherokee basketry with Salix (Muscogee/Cherokee). In this mindful weaving workshop, you’ll learn the traditional art of Oklahoma round reed Cherokee basket weaving—a practice that centers the heart, calms the mind, and weaves community together.
No prior experience is needed, and all supplies will be provided. This is a beautiful opportunity to slow down, connect, and immerse yourself in an ancestral art form passed down through generations.
Workshop Details:
Duration: 2–3 hours (depending on group size)
Cost: $50 per person
Limited Space: 10 seats per session
